So I’ve been reading these culture shock books. They are really informative. You can check them out here at Amazon Sweden and France. But anyways according to these books, I’m experiencing pre-departure culture shock. I’m realizing I have a “lessening interest in current responsibilities and difficulty sleeping”. Maybe I’m just lazy and becoming an insomniac but I think culture shock fits a bit better. I have all this homework to do, but I’m just burned out on this stuff. It doesn’t help when a few of my classes are talking about the same thing. For example, CSC 208, Computing and the social responsibility is basically a tech based ethics class. But we are just covering the different ethical frameworks. I’ve already had two ethics classes on Kant, Utilitarianism, Social Contract Theory and Distributive Justice, I don’t need a third. The rest of my classes are pretty cake. I’m getting the work done, but I end up going over it again because it’s not good enough. So now I’m lazy, sleepless and OCD.

Other then that I got some more travel shows on France and Sweden. I’m going to watch them and I’ll post on what I thought about them. I don’t think I can honestly review them until I get there and see what it’s like first hand.

Oh and before I end this post, I’ve been having a weird craving to play golf. I did notice on Google Earth that the Linkoping campus has a course right next to it :-)
