So Thanksgiving is coming up and I had this great idea that I would do some cooking and have some people over. Then I thought it’d be even better to expose the foreign students to this as well. Then I figured if I was going to show them how it goes I would just go all out and do a traditional ordeal. Turns out that the Atlantis family has gotten pretty big. I think this will be one of my toughest cooking challenges, cooking for 24+ people in a Neo-Contemporary Southern Thanksgiving cuisine and no oven! Much more to come on that front, I need to make sure I can get whole turkeys in time, then I’ll release my attack plan.

I also went to the Beaujolais nouveau festival. I thought it would be like a wine tasting, ya know, older crowd, classical music etc. Nope, not what I expected at all, I got raving house music with drunken students and a neat fireworks show. Very interesting … The wine sucked … it tasted like an alcoholic sour grape juice.
