Well the other day we had a guided tour of Lyon, it was pretty neat. The “old Lyon” part of town is really neat. It has a lot of character with it’s little hidden shortcuts through small court yards and dim walkways. Back home in Winchester we have this old town, open air mall. Old Lyon reminded me a lot about our downtown open mall. The cobble stone roads made me feel like I was strolling down the mall during Apple Blossom. Lyon is really something to see. It’s a nice town.

We also put together a poker night, it was pretty fun. It’s interesting how we may night be able to communicate 100% but we can still all play Texas Hold’em.

The Internet at the apartments have been sucking really bad. It’s weird, my building is on a 192.168.* network and the other building is on 172.16 network??? You would think it’s vlaned, but from my jack I’m seeing all kinds of traffic. Weird … Also there isn’t a dhcp server on my network … but the other building you can pick up an address … I don’t know wtf they are doing, but I know I could do it much better … s

Oh … I still don’t have hot water … but I got keys to another studio in the other building so I can shower over there!

And we also saw the France, Argentina rugby match. That is a very brutal sport. American football is rough as it is … be man, rugby is rough. Sébastien Chabal … is a monster if you don’t believe me check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xrbp1ASVhCg … But anyways, we all met at the square got a few beers and watched the game. It was pretty wild, they had this HUGE screen in the middle of the town with a projector that would put mine to shame. Drinking in public is no problem here … its really awkward at first, but walking by the police with a liter and a half of beer in plain sight is totally legal!

Well gotta run …
