I was reading a blog authored by a girl orginally born in New York, that now lives and works in Stockholm: http://www.mylifeinstockholm.com/ and she has this link on her site talking about the fashion of the Swedes. I thought this was perfect because I’m still kinda in the grey about what I want to pack clothes wise. Anyways the link is: http://stockholmstreetstyle.feber.se/feber/ So the interesting part about this is that judging from the pictures, the Swedes are either extremely far advanced with a super emo look or they are stuck in the 80’s trying to throw a contemporary spin on it. In any case, this proves my point that although they certainly don’t have our concept of fashion, there are some really cute girls over there :-) You can view the older pages by adding ?=p# to the end of the url for example, http://stockholmstreetstyle.feber.se/feber/?p=1 or look for Natsa sida at the bottom of each page, I’m going to assume that means next page or next side.

Well, in other news today, I might have to move all this over to Live Journal. For those that don’t know what that is, it is a social network of blogs, so think facebook, myspace all rolled into one that only really does blogs. The reason is that it has a community that allows its members to post on a public, private or community basis. So someone in our group could post to the community and everyone in the group would see it. Kinda neat when you think about it, its a cheap, fast, easy way for people to communicate with all of us at the same time. The bad part is that it’s ugly, not very customizable, dull and for the higher level features it has a monthly fee. Prof M. ( The DePaul adviser for the study abroad program ) said that they’ll cover the cost so I guess that’s really a non issue. However I can do the same thing with a WordPress blog much like this one but that means I would prolly end up up keeping it, which kinda sucks, but I’ll gladly do it to help keep me in touch with my web skills. But still, I would need to do it for 23 other kids that aren’t technically focused. I don’t know. Lots of pro’s and con’s, I guess I’ll just sit on it for a bit and figure it out.

I am actually proud of this site, it’s become kind of a place to reflect, analyze and think about things in a different way. I also have been getting a ton of traffic for some weird reason. I have had a ton of blog related robots hit me, and google has already indexed this site Google.com with site:www.hackingeurope.com as the query and the truly bizarre, according to Google analytics Friday, the 27th I had 16 unique non robot visitors, to date I’ve had 51 unique visitors. These figures also are identical to my AWStats page from my host. Pretty weird.

I have class in the morning so, Bonne nuit
